Annika Sangster

Annika Sangster joined us at St. Luke's in October 2015 as an appointed minister for 12 months.  Annika comes to us with ten years of ministry experience, including both youth ministry and pastoral ministry, spending four years as Student Supply.  Although she is currently working on her Interim Ministry Credentials, Annika earned her Bachelor of Arts at Mount Allison University and her Diploma in Diaconal Ministry from the Centre for Christian Studies.

Annika sits currently sits on the board for Sherbrooke Lake and the Centre for Progressive Christianity.  She currently chairs the Annual Meeting and Planning team for Maritime Conference, which includes sitting on both the Conference Executive and Sub-Executive.

Annika enjoys empowering people, loving them into their best selves.  She is a natural advocate, companion, and life-long learner, describing herself as a “leftie” on the theological spectrum.  As pop culture junkie, Annika enjoys finding subtle references to “The Way” in the media.  In her spare time Annika enjoys practicing and appreciating many forms of art, and enjoys finding ways to incorporate both art and community building in worship.  Read what Annika wrote for Sunday by clicking here.
